Ime Ndon Shines as FC Milsami Near Moldovan League and Cup Titles

Nigerian striker Ime Ndon is having a breakout season in Moldova, playing a pivotal role in FC Milsami’s pursuit of a historic domestic double. The former Ibom Youths FC player has been instrumental in propelling Milsami to the top of the Moldovan Super Liga table and into the semi-finals of the Moldovan Cup.

Ndon has tallied four goals and four assists in his last seven outings across all competitions, including a standout display in Milsami’s 5-0 league rout of CSF Bălți on May 3, where he notched two assists. Just days earlier, he scored and assisted in another 5-0 demolition this time against Spartanii Selemet in the first leg of the Moldovan Cup semi-finals.

Milsami now lead the Super Liga standings with 19 points from eight matches, just ahead of Sheriff Tiraspol. With three league games left and one more to play, the club is in a prime position to claim its first league title since 2015 and possibly a double with Ndon emerging as the key figure in this title chase.
